Namma Bengaluru

Bangalore is one of the hottest and happening cities for the young people. Bangalore is ruled by those little Kings and Queens. With lots of nice picnic spots around the city, bearable climate, and lotsa opportunities, Blore rockss!!

At the same time I also wish that some changes happen to the city.
I'll try to list out a few which I can recollect .... Anyone can feel free to add in or criticise these points.

The TRAFFIC !!
Well, It is the nightmare of the city. With young people having so much money, owning a car is not a sin. But trying to manoeuvre it through the city surely is!
Of course, the narrow old roads which were meant for the traffic two decades ago is not even close to enough.
The pollution which accompanies is yet another story.

Cost of living
With income comes expenditure. And when you don't know where to spend it?? Here comes the problem. Money is so lavish with most of them that they spend it like anything.
Whatever you ask for I will give. This is the attitude with most young people, which has resulted in increase of house rents, auto charges, and what not.
And those who don't have money to live the lifestyle ,we will make it through hook or crook!Shouldn't these values be taught first before letting them handle the money?

Conduct
With the first job and first salary comes lots of other interesting stuff too. Your first freedom!! N if you are not sure how to use it.. Well, just come over to Bangalore to experience it..
Who is there to ask me to be back home before dark? Who will not let me party now?

These are my first hand knowledge of Blore. I wish the youth were more responsible and do more to our developing nation.

Am i a genius?? :P

I became a Zoozoo fan!

The latest with the IPL is the Vodafone Zoozoo commercials. It is truly creativity at its best. I saw the commercials a few times before I heard the news that it was not animated and that it was enacted by real live people!! Amazing . Hats off to the person who came up with the idea.

Ads have always interested me.
From the national integrity songs to the
'Don't marry the worst mistake of your life'-ad for some matrimony site funny ads to the
ad wars between brands...
The story continues... Anyway I like to watch the ads than the boring stuff they air on tv. At least there is some creativity somewhere!!

The daily soaps are sooooo boring that it zaps the life and happiness out of the person. Sometimes it makes me want to think-Don't
you people ever want to smile??
The real purpose of relaxation associated with watching tv is lost with the soaps...

My experience with God's own country-Kerala

I was brought up in God's own country as they call it -Kerala. It is indeed one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Attracting lots of tourists-domestic and international,it is a small but well developed state in India. You will definitely notice the variety it offers in this small expanse of land which is very rarely seen-the beaches, the hill-stations, the forests, and of course, experience the back waters. The climate is never too hot and never too cold.

Being a non-keralite by origin and being brought up in Kerala I have to mention the pros n cons which I saw as I grew up. I do understand that people are of all kinds and it is impossible to generalize.

Kerala is one state where I find a higher percentage of working women even in the past generation. It has a very good literacy rate. They respect women and give importance to her views while making a decision. Also here I find atleast a bunch of people who are broad-minded.
Broad-mindedness do not refer to hanging around with guys/gals. Here it refers to being open to a guy-gal relationship as a friendship.Even a layman here seems to understand the politics of the country and knows how to read between the lines (or interpret) when a politician says something else.

There are a few drawbacks too. Backbiting is a major hobby which you will find being practiced among Keralites-atleast by those coming from the southern parts of Kerala(geographically south of Thrissur). So when you are dealing with them check whether you are standing in quick sand.

You will always find Mallus(malayalees-native of Kerala) forming groups of Mallus. You might think that they are soo dedicated to their own people. But the greatest irony is that, the greatest enemy of a Mallu is another Mallu. The only reason why they seem to form the group is to talk the language(Malayalam) as much as they want. I should say...They are truly in love with their language..

Well, another negative which I would defenitely point out is that they feel that they are superior to any other people and talk and behave in such a manner. Being a literate also means behaving like one, which they need to understand.(It doesn't mean that all Mallus are the same.I have seen a lot of decent and genuine people too).

I hate hypocrites to the core. Here though you may not have anything to eat people dress up very neatly. There is a saying in Malayalam -"Chattu kidannalum chamnju kidakkanam"  which roughly translates to - even if you are lying dead,be as dressed up as possible.N I find Mallus following that to the word.

I do not intent to hurt any Malayalees reading this. But this is what people around you feel about you. Maybe you don't bother what others think about you. But still it is better if you do care about your neighbours. :)

Height of laziness and it happened

I never know whether what I had done to myself was right or wrong in life. But I always like to believe that I did the right thing. Sometimes I find myself oddly brave.hehe.. To start with it, it was me who proposed to my boyfriend!! I donno from where I got the guts to do such a thing.I presumed that he was too lazy to ask first.

I begin, I struggle, I try

Hi All

Bored with everything.... Hence thought -why not try blogging!!

At least I could tell someone that I do have a first hand experience when people say that they think about what to, when to and how to present. And as for my English!! Well, I am not really bothered about that atleast for the time being. I will think of improving on it as I go on.

As of now the subjects which I could think of writing are hmmm.... lets say-my experiences,my adventures,my thoughts....I will surely add on to it later!

My journey begins...
